INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
Schnitzels:
2 Small Veal Steaks
1 Cup of Plain Flour
1 Cup of Dry Bread Crumbs
1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese (Powdered Shaker-Style)
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup of Milk
Salt and Pepper
Butter (for frying, or use vegetable oil)
Creamy Mushroom Sauce:
1 Cup of Button Mushrooms (Sliced Thinly)
Butter (for frying)
2 (Large) Tablespoons of Sour Cream
1/2 Cup of Grated Cheddar Cheese
Salt and Pepper (to season)
Makes 2 Schnitzels with Sauce
Preparation Time: 10 minutes (+ 20 minutes Chilling Time)
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

this is basically a crunchy beef strogonoff
I have a question- this is the first dish with sour cream I have ever cooked, and my cream ended up tasting sour... is that what's suppose to happen? How do I make a sauce that allows the flavor of the mushrooms to come through? Thanks!
