INGREDIENT LIST:

1/2 Loaf of Sandwich Bread (I used thick cut, day old bread)
6 Eggs
Small Amount of Butter or Margarine
2 Cups of Milk (500ml)
1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Maple Syrup (or other sauces / toppings, to serve)
Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 hours (minimum) on LOW setting
SERVES 4 to 6 (depending on serving size)
All measurements and temperatures are in Australian Metric.

French toast is one of my most favorites! :) I am in Texas though and it was 82F yesterday. However it is winter so basically getting every season over the last couple of months. :P Some days are cold (18F) and I bust out the jackets but then a few days later it is in the 60F range then 80F but then a few days after that it is cold again (20F thereabouts) :) - Heidi
