RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:
2 Spring Onions (aka Shallots / Scallions)
Baby Corn
Broccolini
1 Clove of Garlic (Crushed / Minced)
200g Udon Noodles (Japanese Rice Noodles)
500g Beef (Thin Strips)
SAUCE:
1 Cup of Liquid Beef Stock (250ml)
1 Tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Honey
OPTIONAL FOR SAUCE
For a thicker sauce add:
1 Teaspoon of Corn Flour (Corn Starch) dissolved in 1 Tablespoon of Hot Water
SPECIAL NOTE: If you can’t find any of the above sauce ingredients, ask at your local Asian Supermarket. If worst comes to worst, replace the above sauce recipe with a pre-made stir-fry sauce.
SERVES 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes
ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

@emmajphotography Neither - the meat releases a bit of juice as it cooks, simply cook the meat, remove it and discard the liquid (or add it to the sauce if you like)
Whenever I try to make beef stir fry the beef always gives out a lot of moisture to the point where it almost ends up stewing, then it becomes really tough & chewy.. Is my butcher a wanker or am I doing it wrong? lol
