“No Dough” Make Your Own Pizza Party! | One Pot Chef

Since my surgery a few years ago, I haven’t been able to eat traditional pizza dough due to digestion problems. I tried so many alternatives over the years, but this is the only one that is quick, easy gives a great pizza taste. Plus it’s perfect for a fun Make Your Own Pizza bar at your next kids party! No messy dough to make or clean up – just get the kids to design and assemble their own pizza creations then bake until golden – Try it today 🙂

Ingredients:

Lebanese Flat Breads (larger pizzas) or Pita Bread (individual mini pizzas)
Sauce (I used Mild Tomato Salsa Dip)
Your Favourite Toppings
Good Quality Grated Cheese

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 15 minutes

  • Oh my those are gorgeous! Great video. I had emergency surgery a few years ago and lost half (5 ft.) of colon so I have an idea of what you've been thru, it can be a real challenge with all kinds of surprises...and whole new way of eating. Glad you dreamed up this pizza. Thanks for sharing. Now I just have to find that bread. :)

  • This reminds me of a dish they serve in a restaurant near me called Manaeesh (the dish, not the restaurant). They describe it as a Lebanese pizza. They use similar Lebanese flatbread, and they serve it with a Lebanese pickle. It's delicious, and it looks like this is too. Keep up the good work.

  • Hey David - have you ever U-Tubed Food Ranger ????You are cool as FUCK - love your output Man.... Live long and Pasta...

  • I've been doing this with pita bread for a long time now. I usually put the pitas in the oven by themselves for a couple of minutes to warm them up and make a little crispier.
I also like doing pizza quesadillas - tortilla in a pan for a few seconds to soften it up, take it out, spread pizza sauce on it, sprinkle on some cheese, add your meats and veggies and then fold it up and put it in the pan to cook to desired crispiness

  • Hey, I guess Lebanese bread is basically a pita! You can also try lavash, which is like an Armenian flatbread. I guess it's similar, but slightly different from a pita. Wouldn't have thought of using this for a pizza base though, thanks for the suggestion!
