I don't do the "everything has to be cold ' thing. My pie crusts come out so flaky and amazing every time, and no egg yolk. I also don't put disks of it in the fridge. I mix it, pat it out, fit in the pie pan, fill, egg wash, and bake....fast , easy and very flaky and tender every time.
