I made them today...turned out great. Just had to adjust my cooking time and rack placement. My heating element is on the top (newer double oven). Love Love Love...keep em coming!!
The bagels got stuck to the wax paper, was I supposed to spray cooking spray on the paper before hand?

OK I have a question...I made these bagels and the dough was very very sticky to the point that holding the dough it's stuck all over my hands. there was no way to roll them without adding a little flour in which case then they didn't roll properly (as you said that) my question is 3 1/2 cups of bread flour is what I used should I have added a little more flour?
does the honey make the bagel sweet? can I omit the honey in the water or add sugar instead?
