I don't like the taste of wine. what can i use as a substitute?
Them steaks dont look very well cooked to me. No nice brown on em

This is really nothing special. I cook these kind of things on "normal" days.
So u use a fork to mash ur potatoes instead of a masher because "it saves time"?!? U really are an idiot
U call chorizo "chorifo" and u call balsamic "balsamy" u idiot

If you are not going to be using the red wine you may as well make it more of gravy instead.
Maybe leave out the balsamic vinegar and red wine.
Then instead you can add a teaspoon of flour to the charlottes to help thicken the mixture, then cook the flour for a few minutes. When the flour is slightly browned you can add some beef stock a bit at a time. Then cook mixture and let it thicken up.
