¾ cup (180 ml) of bittersweet chocolate chips
4 tbsp (60 g) of unsalted butter
¼ cup (50 g) sugar
1 egg
¼ tsp (1.25 ml) of vanilla extract

⅛ tsp (0.5ml) salt
⅛ tsp (0.5ml) of baking soda
Method:
Preheat oven to 350F (175 C) degrees. Grease skillet with butter and set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter and microwave on high for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Add sugar, egg and vanilla and whisk to combine. Set aside.
In a small bowl add flour, salt and baking powder. Whisk to combine. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and whisk to combine.
Transfer batter to skillet and bake for 15-17 mins until a toothpick comes out “mostly clean”. Cake is best a little underdone. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

We don't have the skillet what any other oven can be used ?
Could you make the batter ahead of time and like before you go out to dinner and then bake it when you get home? Lol we have reservations already but this looks so damn good hahaha
Thanks for showing this in two sizes!! Will be trying the small version!!
I don’t have a microwave! How should I do it?
What a delicious looking cake!
Lol cake for two, I am totally going to make this just for myself >:). Thanks Beth
Can we make it in a normal cake pan?
Hey Beth, can you show how to make similar desserts (puddings, gooey brownies..etc.) on open fire or campfire? because believe it or not recipes on campfire desserts are scarce aside from grilled fruits and s'mores!
