Beef and Mushroom Hand Pies are quick and easy to make, and a great portable snack! Beef is combined with mushrooms, herbs and spices, then enclosed in an envelope of puff pastry. Baked until golden and puffed, these hand pies can be served hot or cold, as a snack or teamed with vegetables or salad to make a complete main dish – Try it today 🙂
Ingredients:
500g of Beef Mince
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
3 Spring Onions (finely sliced)
6 Button Mushrooms (finely chopped)
2 Teaspoons of Dried Thyme Leaves
1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Cup of Fresh Breadcrumbs (about 1 slice of regular sandwich bread)
Salt and Pepper
4 Sheets of Frozen Ready Rolled Puff Pastry (thawed)
1 Egg (lightly beaten)
Preparation Time: About 15 minutes (plus cooling time)
Cooking Time: About 25 minutes

Looks amazing! I will have to make that soon. I will have to swap out the mushrooms though. I love them but they don't love me. I get really sick to my stomach when I eat them. :( I used to be able to eat them but in my late 30's that changed for some reason... thankfully I still can eat black olives!! I am so addicted to those and that is probably what I would use in my pies. :D - Heidi
