Thanksgiving is coming up soon.. and I was wondering if the dough recipe for hand pies would translate to rolled dough for pumpkin pie.. I use my old family recipe for pie dough.. flour, shortning or butter and a couple tbs of cold water.. this is off the top of my head so might have missed something.. but, this dough sounds like it would be fab for pumpkin pie..wondering if it would be too dense for whole pie..help and thanks

I really love watching your videos and am trying to learn to cook more by way of them haha. I like to be able to cook by tasting things and intuition and eyeballing everything. But I still feel like it would help for some of the ingredients where we can’t really visualize how much of an ingredient you’re using, you tell us the ballpark amount. Like amount of butter/cream cheese and flour. The lemon and cold water is something I can just guess how much you use
How do you make the crust if you do not have a food processor?
I made these omg so awesome! I went to Apple orchard used two different apples with mixture amazing my boys loved them! Thank you Laura for this recipe such a nice treat and great with vanilla ice cream yummy! Your the best ! You inspire me to bake! Muah!
