Great job Marlena, it's so good that you are sharing your journey of a more healthy lifestyle with everyone, I'm sure it's helped so many people!
Although, I'll add, there's no need to look for low sodium, low fat, blah blah, just buy fresh, unprocessed food everyone! If something has a long ingredients list, it's probably not healthy.
This recipe looks delicious, but could be made even more healthy by using zucchini noodles, cutting out the processed meats, adding more veggies and using fresh chopped tomatoes for a sauce. I don't want to criticize, you're doing a fab job, just adding my tips because I know people often don't realize that because something is low fat/sodium/sugar doesn't mean it's healthy, just eat fresh!

Adding oil makes it a lot more unhealthy.

Life hack: chew gum while chopping onions and you won't cry! Also, have you ever tried spaghetti squash? It's amazing as a pasta substitute (obviously it doesn't taste the same but it's different and I like it just as much). <3

The sauce gets liquidity sometimes because ths mushrooms have a ton of moisture in them. Great choice on rice noodles love those!

  38. Spun Sunshine

    March 13, 2016 at 2:17 am

You should make a quick healthy marinara sauce instead of jar sauce….so much sugar, salt & preservatives in those. Very unhealthy.
