Looking great, Larry! I love the down home country simplicity – Country fried, with country gravy, like I grew up with. No frills because they *don't need* any frills.

    No, no, no . . . WAIT, Larry . . . it gets even better! . . . πŸ™‚

As guests pull up into the well-lit parking lot, two burly bouncers will check everyone's ID as they enter "The Wolfe Pit" . . . (after all , we don't want any troublemakers or underage drinkers, right?)

I'll be your Bartender (wearing a white shirt and black bow-tie of course), ready to mix up the famous "Wolf Pit Martini"!

Your daughter will be the Hostess, seating guests as they arrive . . . πŸ™‚

    (to be continued . . .)

Okay . . . . picture a dark country road at night . . . you're driving along and along, getting hungry . . . . then around a curve you see a low building (like a "roadhouse") with white flood lights showing a sign over it: "The Wolfe Pit" . . (a picture of a wolf's face is to the right) . . . another sign below it says "come in and rest a spell"
    .
    .
    .
How am I doing as your marketing agent so far, Larry?

Help me Rhonda!!! (don't know why I said that – but that last shot of the gravy all over the chicken with you letting us know how ridiculously good it was, made me break into song – from the 60's – don't judge πŸ˜‰ We don't make milk gravy and fried chicken in Canada – but this Canadian is going to change that with your wing recipe! xoxo!

Dang-nab-it Larry! What a brilliant, thrifty and all around good idea to use the already well seasoned leftover chicken flour for the gravy!
    When I saw that I had a slap-on-the-head-could-a-had-a-V8 moment!
i always chucked the coating cuz I thought it was "contaminated."
Perfectly safe, as you must boil the gravy, hence robbing any microbial nasties of their infectious future, and pretty dang tasty gravy to boot I'll bet!
Only problem is, there's never enough gravy!
    Good job my friend!

Yeah, you SHOULD have your own restaurant, Wolfie!

(Aptly named "The Wolfe Pit" of course! *lol*)

That looks super great, my friend. Isn't it funny sometimes, how "simple" is better? Simple flour, salt, pepper, chicken parts, and hot oil can make a SUPERB dish!!

    Well done, Larry!

All best and thumbs up as always, Jersey Joe πŸ™‚
