Sneaky Meatballs are a great way to get the kids to eat more vegetables without them realising it. Tender, succulent meatballs made with beef, rice, carrot and zucchini served with your favourite pasta sauce and mashed potato. So good, the kids will never notice the vegetables – give it a go!

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

1kg of Beef Mince (Ground Beef)
2 Carrots (grated)
1 Zucchini (grated)
1 Cup of Cooked White Long Grain Rice
2 Eggs (beaten)
Salt and Pepper
2 Jars of Tomato-Based Pasta Sauce
Mashed Potato (to serve)

Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Cooking Time: About 50 minutes

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

    My mother rolls the meatballs on the rice so its on the outside. She calls them "porcupines".

    MY SCHOOL TOLD ME THEY WERE ALL BEEF MEAT BALLS.THIS IS WHY THEY TASTED DIFFERENT FEOM BEFORE.it tasted good though

    I LOVE the name of these meatballs and not only for the kiddies this will be great for the Hubby that won't eat his veggies!  I'll make them next time he want's spaghetti and he'll never know the difference.  Thanks!

    Looks good but look at all that fat… Better I think to season the meatballs a bit more and bake them in the oven on their own, drain off the fat & then cook with the tomato sauce.. just my opinion
