Quick Pesto Quiche | One Pot Chef

Quick Pesto Quiche is a shortcut recipe that takes moments to prepare, but is bursting with flavour! Eggs, cheese and Basil Pesto are combined then poured into a puff pastry base and topped with more cheese. INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

5 Eggs
1 Cup of Grated Cheddar Cheese (About 100g)
150g of Basil Pesto Sauce (or any Pesto Sauce you prefer)
1 Sheet of Frozen Ready Rolled Puff Pastry (thawed)
Spray Oil
Salt and Pepper

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes

SERVES 4 – 6

    Hey onepotchef. I just tried the pesto quiche, it was great, thanks a lot for the recipe. Did you ever try the same recipe with red, dried tomato pesto? I believe that would also be a good option. What do you think?

    For your handy 2 min tips thingymajig : you can bung in some olive oil into your nearly used up pesto jar, it makes it easier to get it all out (but runnier, so use as a salad dressing for example).

    @Lassionbabe I've heard that vegan people use yeast extract, called Savoury yeast or Nutritional yeast flakes to simulate the yeast flavour. Ot's basically the flavour of not so salty not so strong marmite/vegemite.

    One … Pot … Chef … sorta means to me that recipes are going to be easy, and ideally in one pot. I don't know why, but out of all cooking shows I have recreated, or contemplated making, more recipes from this channel than any other.
