I made these blondies in an 8×8 pan and couldn't get them done. I baked them for about 40 minutes and they were still gooey in the center. Any suggestions?

Hi Laura! I made these today!! Added walnuts to the recipe and also added chocolate chips rather than white chocolate (it was all I had)… soo good!! It definitely took more than 30 mins to cook however. Next time I try these, I will have oven at 325 rather than 350, and bake for 50 mins- 1 hour. Thanks for recipe!

Don't skip the parchment paper at the bottom!  I did, and they stuck bad!  Mine took around 40 minutes to bake.  They turned out really great!  Oh, and I also used a Pyrex glass dish so maybe that is why they took longer?

I love the recipe but made some different choices in favor. I substituted the pumpkin spice for cinnamon and nutmeg. I also use 1/2 a tsp. of vanilla and a 1/2 tsp. of banana extract for the flavoring. Other then that it was pretty awesome. Can't wait to make more recipes in the future.

you can make the pumpkin puree yourself, actually laura has a recipe for it and for the pumpkin pie spice it's basically Ginger, cinnemon and nutmeg. So no excuses to enjoy this great recipe 🙂

Why didn't you coat the white chocolate chips with the flour? Is it because the batter is thicker?
