Wow, I finally found someone who gives me hope to make my own food without failure. I'm a little lazy to go all out with complicated dishes but would love to be able to make something decent for when I have guests over. Thank you so much!
By the way you have a very appealing voice, makes the videos easy to listen to :)

Love the party dish, I was wondering if you knew or would be able to post the recipe in English or American? I know that is not the right terminology. But If you can't that's OK.

What David means by bacon is what we Americans would call ham. If using bacon as Americans call it you would have to fry it till crisp. Remove from pan, drain on paper towels, pour off all but a tablespoon or two of bacon grease and saute' your onions. Let everything cool before layering. Easier to use the ham but the bacon would be fabulous too. :o)

It's Australian Bacon, which is different to American Bacon. It's closer to what you would call ham 😉

  39. busaboo

    September 12, 2016 at 9:11 am

Are you using ham, or Canadian bacon? Because this doesn't look like the bacon you fry!

Oooh! I have a similar dish except that I use half cream and half mayonnaise – adds a different touch to the taste:) Also I grate some mozzarella cheese on top so that it's nice and stretchy:)

It's best served hot / warm. Once baked, it can be easily reheated in the oven. Just cover with foil and place into the oven until hot 😉
