Oven Baked Chicken Nuggets are a healthier alternative to the children’s fast food favourite. Succulent pieces of Chicken Breast Fillet are dredged in seasoned flour, egg and breadcrumbs to create a delicious treat, without the need for deep frying – Give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

2 Large Chicken Breast Fillets
1/2 Cup of Plain Flour
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons of Milk
1 Cup of Dried Breadcrumbs
Salt and Pepper
Dipping Sauce (to serve)

NOTE: You can spray the nuggets with a little cooking spray prior to baking if you want that “fried” texture on the crumbs – but this is not essential.

MAKES ABOUT 18 NUGGETS

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

    If you freeze it, how long would you bake it for? Or should you defrost first and then bake?

    I made this and you couldn't taste the flour mixture and all I tasted was breadcrumbs but the meat was amazing and also I had too eat it with chili sauce too taste good

    Probably easiest to crumb them then freeze them (in a snap-lock bag, in a single layer) for best results 😉

    just made these. they are cookin now… i used coconut flour, and sprouted grain bread for bread crums. should be good! and i seasoned with chili paprika and garlic
