Sounds good. Depending on how spicy you want to make the chicken, you could add all sorts of herbs and spices. Chili or Cayenne Pepper would be good for adding some heat πŸ˜‰

Hi, I am going to try to make a spicy chicken pie the same way as the beef, and would appreciate how I should go about making the chicken spicy and whether mashed potato and spicy chicken goes well together.

@batesoe I am well aware of this fact. However, in Canada it's commonly referred to as "Shepherd's Pie" regardless of the meat used. I LOVE lamb myself, but it doesn't seem to be too popular on the menu in this country.

I love recipes like this mostly because it's about method more then ingredients. I can see this done with mushrooms and mixed veggies or whatever you happen to have left over in the fridge, it's the method that makes the recipe at least for me.

@guitarstar136 Scallions are a type of onion. If you've eaten them in the past without problem, then they will be fine to use in this recipe πŸ˜‰
