    Did anyone else's cookie feel/taste a little uncooked? I pre heated and then cooked 25 mins as she directed and then proceeded but they "shortbread" is not as flaky as I would have wanted. It feels uncooked.

    TIP: If you pushed the crust up the side of the pan you should put another piece of baking paper/alfoil over the top and weight it down with baking beads or uncooked rice. It will prevent the sides from collapsing while it cooks. :)

    if you want it to look really yellowish without wanting to use food colouring just add in some more egg YOLKS. I've done that and it turned into a beautiful yellow almost neon color. I also drive white chocolate on the top :3

    I make these with just fresh squeezed lemon,no condensed milk. Same recipe,no milk.

    When you're in your third trimester and craving these without having tasted them, and you realize you're out of lemons, have a complete meltdown, call your sperm donor to bring you lemons ASAP but he's selfish because he's in surgery and you have another meltdown because God has abandoned you and you've forgotten you can drive yourself to the corner store that is a 5 minute drive down the road, but by then you're so depressed that no one understands or cares about your lemon issues that you crumble and cry on the bed for another hour, fall asleep in misery, wake up and see this video again and it starts all over again.

    the crust always comes out too soft or very hard, dunno why 🙁 baked for 20m at 350 and came out soft when I pressed them, brownish on the sides

    Ingredients:
    For the Crust:
    2 Cups of Flour
    1/2 cup of Powdered Sugar
    2 Sticks of Unsalted Butter, at room temperature

    For the Filling:
    1 14 oz Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
    4 Eggs
    2/3 Cup of Fresh Lemon Juice
    Zest of One Lemon
    1/4 tsp of Salt
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1 Tbsp of Flour
    Yellow Food Coloring (optional)

    Hi Laura – tried this recipe and came out really good – how do we store these bars ? Are they supposed to be kept in the freezer or can we leave them outside ? If so for how many days are they good to consume
