    Should you not put the grand marnier in after it’s cooked? Otherwise the alcohol will just cook away?

    I made this using Creme Cacao for the alcohol. It tasted chocolatey. Maybe not super authentic, but very nice all the same.

    The recipe calls for alcohol. Get over it. The cooking process will remove virtually all of the alcohol content. You're not going to get a buzz.

    I made this today as I love zabaglione an it's hard to find at restaurants. It turned out thick and lovely, but too sweet for me. I'll cut the sugar down to 75% of what's called for next time.
