after all, each little piece would need about 15 minutes of running to burn it out of the body. not recommended for serious dieting.

Your brownies suck. I did the mix and they came out like dry lumps of crumbly tasteless pancakes. Other than their thickness they had no resemblance to real brownies and you should really use more sugar and butter. Ridiculous.

One brownie is around 58kcal. Might be different depending on the brand of the ingredients too.

You misunderstood me. I never go on diet! Instead, I view diet as a lifestyle. So I eat healthily for most of the time and watch my weight everyday. It is life so we need treats. And as a human being, sometimes I'm greedy – I want treats, at the same time want it to be less unhealthy. Not having those unnecessary fat and sugar but can still taste the same or similar thing is just perfect. For your information, my BMI have never gone larger than 19 so actually that works.

With my metabolism weight isnt a problem. But ofcourse if losing weight is your main goal you shouldn't even be consuming processed sugara for that matter.

Because most brownie recipes contain an unnecessary amount of calories.

"Diet" is not all about fasting in a few weeks or months. It is long-termed. Both diet (or healthy eating style) and dessert are not something that is all or nothing. You can still have treats when eating healthily and you can minimize the fat and sugar content when enjoying the treats. Maybe you will feel better if I reverse my statement; Yes this recipe doesn't make the cake a healthy food, but it makes the cake become less unhealthy. 🙂

"Diet" is more like a life style. I will be watching my weight probably in the rest of my life but I like dessert. What is the point of eating all those fat and calories if a healthier version still taste amazing?

Icing sugar and powdered sugar LOOK the same but are they treated the same? I know you live in a different country(im in the US) so maybe powdered sugar goes by something different where you are… Or i could be overthinking this lol

Is this a cake brownie? Usually I see recipes that do not require baking soda and powder. Is it possible if I alter this recipe by not adding them? Will it turn into a fudge brownie then?
