Pork chops would be good for this instead of a typical apple sauce glaze

That would make a hell of a glaze for a roast chicken or even an ham

Glad you liked it! Did you do the yogurt as a dipping sauce as well? That's what almost makes it taste like shortcake. Really glad you tried and liked it! I think people thought I was crazy!

I'm sorry, I really do try to reply to every comment. I mistakenly overlooked this one. It was Smuckers Strawberry Pancake Syrup. No maple flavor. Sorry again

Hi Bud. I don't have any set measurements and go by eye. But I see your question cause it looks like more than a teaspoon……..but I had the camera zoomed in and it was a half tsp. I need to write things down, so I can remember. Start off with a half tsp, taste and go from there, but I'm sure it was a 1/2 tsp. Sorry. Thank you for watching!

    Half teaspoon or tablespoon?

  28. TheWolfePit

    September 16, 2016 at 10:05 am

Just generic vegetable oil. Peanut oil can get expensive for me!! LOL Thanks for watching!

It's all by eye! I question my measuring sometimes too, but when I really do test in the palm of my hand they're closer than they look! LOL I think a teaspoon 'spread' versus a formed teaspoon 'dropped' looks a bit bigger. I stick by it! LOL This is the 'Wolfe measuring system'! Thanks for watching!!

Without the yogurt, they were a bit spicy for her. With the yogurt she loved them!
