    This pie would be perfect if you used half as much sugar as what Laura uses here. God knows there is already enough sugar in the corn syrup.

    This is wrong. The mixture should be brought up to a boil and cooled, then add the eggs. That will give the pie body, and there won't be any need to use corn starch. This pie has no body at all, it's falling apart!

    dang it dang it. this is the second year i make this and it over flowed. it got all sloppy and all over the edges. 🙁
    also after the first hour it was way wobbley. so i left it in for another 30 minutes. what am i doing wrong. oh, and i took it out only because i had to get the turkey in. i took it out and it was a bit wobbley. when it cooled it got hard.

    Can I take out the corn syrup or do I have to use it. A lot of people in my family can't have too much sugar (I get its a sugary thing and they love it) but if there's anyway I can put a little less sugar in there I'll do it

    It would be nice if the camera is not majority of the time focus on your face, Laura. If the cam was focusing on the foods and zooming in to see the texture and look of the pie or any foods would be awesome:)

    Why do you put the pecans first and then the custard on top of it? Why not just mix everything and then pour it into the crust? 🙂
