Hoi Sin Beef Stir Fry is a simple Asian inspired main meal that is quick to prepare. Fresh vegetables and tender beef are combined with a delicious sauce and served on a bed of noodles or rice. Perfect for the whole family and easy enough to prepare as a weeknight dinner – give it a go!

RECIPE FACT SHEET

INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

500g Beef Strips
2 Carrots (cut thinly)
1 Brown Onions (sliced into thin wedges)
2 Sticks of Celery
1/3 Cup of Hoi Sin Sauce (about 80ml)
1/4 Cup of Hot Water

Serve with Rice or Noodles

NOTE: Feel free to use any vegetables you wish

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
Cooking Time: About 10 minutes

SERVES 4

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

    I love this, but I might replace the carrots with bell peppers instead.

    IF I cannot find the Hoi Sin, I'd substitute sweet n sour or worceteshire sauce.Gotta get some serloin tips and try this out, looks might good. I like to use sesame oil in th eWOK.

    I'm so glad I discovered Hoisin Sauce! I make the stir fry with rump steak, leeks, mushrooms, capsicum, carrots and spinach. It's delicious.

    Have you considered doing a healthy series? I'd like to learn how to season vegetables in interesting ways and how to cook fish or chicken in a healthy way but with flavor. I think you could pull it off well.

    @stormnordwind It is surely different than any hoi sin I've ever seen too! That can't be the same stuff. You can't pour the stuff you and I know either.

    Use oyster sauce instead. It's a more traditional application as well. πŸ™‚
