INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

500g of Cooked Pasta
200g of Sliced Ham (chopped)
3 Eggs
1 Cup of Milk (250ml)
50g of Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (about a cup)
Salt and Pepper
Chives (to garnish)

Preparation Time: About 5 minutes
Cooking Time: About 15 minutes

SERVES 4 – 6

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC
(Look up Google for a conversion chart if using Imperial)

    If you leave out the milk, use only the egg yolks cheeseham and a bit of the pasta water to loosen the sauce a bit you have carbonara.

    In Germany we call it ham – pasta and 1 pinch make off nutmeg ( Muskatnuss ), very tasty. ☺

    It's best to use a finely grated cheese for this recipe. As for mayo, I've never tried it in this dish 😉

    Simply bring the water to the boil, so on a high temperature setting on your stove 😉
