Honestly, they should've picked a better name for the cake.

I don't understand why the baked cake mix isn't full of lumpy dry blobs, as usually it's thoroughly mixed with egg and other moisture 9oil, water) before going in a pan… (?) ….CONFUSED, HERE!

Hi Laura another great recipe. Thank you so much. I made this for a dinner party and it was effortlessly delicious. I didn't have peaches so I used fresh pears and blueberries instead. The result was delicious and the house smelled divine

These cakes have always amazed me. How does the cake mix cook? Does it just kinda roast?

My daughter and I decided to make this cake because we could not believe the cake mix was just sprinkled over the fruit. This cake is so delicious. We could not believed that it would be that good! My mother loved it too. I did add a dash of nutmeg.

Wow, Laura took that squeeze of lemon in her eye like a champ. If it was me, I would have had to stop production and wash it out!! Great recipe, as always. Could you make a July 4th inspired dessert, like a red, white and blue cake? I want to bring something really special to a bbq in a few weeks, particularly a dessert that feature fresh, summer fruit. A side dish would be nice, too! Thanks, Laura : )

Why so much added sugar?? Isn't the cake mix and fresh fruit sugary enough??>> I think I am going to cut that in half.

Laura, I absolutely love your recipes. I have a folder on my computer filled just with your mouth-watering recipes. I love what you can do with brownies and I would like to ask of you to make another cake-inspired brownie. My dad absolutely love Black Forest Cake, and I was wondering of you can make a brownie inspired by it? Maybe a brownie soaked or filled with a cherry flavour or cherries and a whipped cream topping. Just throwing some inspiration your way. xxx
