Deep Fried Hot Sauce (copy cat recipe) – Chicken Charlies Deep Fried Hot Sauce

Deep Fried Hot Sauce WHAT?? Yeah Chicken Charlies sells these at the L.A. county fair along with other deep fried concoctions! Though these are closer to spicy hush puppies, the dominant flavor is the Frank’s Red Hot!

Very nice, Larry! 🙂 Since I moved down here, I've had hush puppies a lot, but not served as spicy as you make them here. Thanks very much and thumbs up as always, your much-cooler-now buddy, Norfolk Joe ;-)

One of the funniest vids I've watched of yours Wolfe! You had me lmao! Loved the voices! Pretty cool recipe & idea, but I'll have to just take the hush puppies without the Franks. You know I can't do hot stuff. GREAT video! I loved it! TFS :))

Jose was an exceptionally talented pepper! And you murdered him??? I'm aghast!! And my flabber is even ghasted! How could you?!

Those definitely looked a lot like nuclear hush puppies, and I would've crumbled some bacon into them.

Still waiting to see you deep fry hot sauce… LOL

I'm filling a complaint with the ETOJ (Ethical Treatment of Jalapenos) over this video.  You subjected those poor jalapenos to cruel and unhuman torture in that cast iron skillet.  It was just sickening to watch them jumping around helplessly.  You should be ashamed of yourself as you seemed very satisfied while you enjoyed eating them.  I think I'm going to try this recipe with Louisiana hot sauce.  Thanks
