Large Gulf shrimp are battered with egg and hot sauce, then lightly breaded and fried! Make more than you think you need, these will not last long!

    If you look closely they are already de-veined (bought them that way).

    I grew up on the NC coast, never de-veined a shrimp then and wouldn't now though. That's like cleaning a crab before you eat it! I've eaten the whole shrimp 43 years now, never been sick or died from eating one! Adds flavor, seriously, regardless of what it really is……LOL
