    Once I ate almost half a pecan pie at a Christmas party. It was getting late and no one was eating it so the host said it was fine!

    I made these for Co workers and they loooooved them. I'm making these for Christmas but instead of chocolate chips I'm using butterscotch chips! Hopefully it tastes good

    Laura, I made your Pecan Bars and they are great. It might be good if you actually put salt in your ingredient list on your web site as I didn't catch that and didn't add it; but I pulled it out of the oven
    just as it started to cook and sprinkled some over and mixed it in. It needs salt for sure. Thanks for all your great recipes!

    I made these last night and I had to hide them from my husband else he would have finished them. They were soooooo damn good. This is a no fail recipe. Try it and I can assure you that everyone will be in awe of your skills….all thanks to Laura ofcourse. A quick tip: I live in New Zealand and I couldn't find corn syrup here so I used golden syrup. I slightly reduced the amount of sugar and corn syrup used in this recipe as I don't like it overly sweet and it all came together perfectly.
    Laura, many many thanks for your fail proof recipes. I have tried so many of your recipes and they are always a big hit. You are also a pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work Laura and Joe!

    Thanks for the recipe, Laura! I made these yesterday and my mom took them to work and her coworkers went crazy over them, requested a second batch as not everyone had a chance to try them (they went so fast!). At my mom's request I sprinkled sweetened coconut shreds on top before baking and it was really good! And I don't even like coconut that much! Also, if they start falling apart when you're cutting them, stick them in the freezer for a bit to harden them up more.

    Can you use dark corn syrup instead of light corn syrup cos I only dark corn syrup at home. Please reply because I will be making this recipe soon. Thanks 🙂
