Hello Laura,Thank you for the wonderful recipe. I tried it tonight. It turned good. I used the same ingredients and the qty. I do have a question- is the pudding supposed to be dry or a bit semi solidy? Mine turned out dry, the taste was great. It looked great but it was dry to taste. I didn't it eat right away. I let the pudding sit for an hour and a half before eating it. Did that make a difference. Or it needs to serve warm/hot?

It helps to toast the bread pieces before mixing it in with the custard and I like to put my bread spices into the custard bowl, let it sit for a few minutes, and then dump it all into my baking dish. I get more even results that way. The first time I made bread pudding I dumped the custard over the bread chunks and I ended up with a pool of custard t the bottom of the dish and it didn't cook all the way. So I've learned to tweak the amount of liquids since using left over bread that amount varies. I love watching your videos and I tell all my friends about you.

Do you have a recipe for challa bread? Or some kind of "eggy" bread (except panettone)?
