Its unhygienic to put the folk back in the pie after been in your mouth!! I don't understand why people do that

Can i use cajeta instead of caramel? I'm not sure what effect it may have on the apples. Is it ok? or does cajeta not bake well?

I just made this for a dinner party. I tried your pie crust recipe and caramel sauce recipe too… the end result was divine.. My guests liked it a lot but some of them reviewed it as a bit too sweet.. so the next time I make it.. I think I'm gonna put less sugar in there.
