Ariah Joy, vegan recipes suck. Eggs are a good protein, Yes, sugar and butter can be cut back. But these breads are not a daily staple. What are you doing on this channel if you only want to eat vegan food? This is for foodies who like tasty stuff

    Hi Laura,
I love your cooking show and your recipes!
Your recipes are very reliable and fabulous.! ! I have a question. What is the reason that the quick bread sometime does not rise as much? I follow the recipe to a T.
Thanks and keep your wonderful recipes coming!

Would it be alright to remove the banana and replace milk with almond milk?

Just made your recipe and… It. Is. Fabulous! I topped with a combo of sugars like a streusel topping and used gluten free flour instead since one of my coworkers is gluten intolerant. A quick tip that I've noticed with the more gluten free things I bake – you have to bake things like bread for a bit longer to ensure it cooks all of the way through. I had to add about 20 more minutes to the bake time on this one. (PS – the gluten free flour I used was the Pillsbury brand and not almond flour just because that's what I had on hand.) Anyway, I absolutely love this recipe. I plan on trying it with strawberries or maybe doing a raspberry or citrus glaze next time, too. Thank you so much for sharing, Laura!

All that butter and sugar & eggs is so unhealthy. You can make vegan banana bread using just BANANAS for sweetener and it's just as good! What's wrong with you guys?

I tried this recipe. The taste of my bread is amazing but its not fully cooked. It fluffed and fully cooked outside but the inside looks like batter. Inspite of keeping in the oven for 60 mins, my bread is not porous in the middle. Any suggestions to correct this.
