Made it yesterday… Loved it. My boyfriend loved it even more: He asked, no, actually he demanded to have the dish again today! π Made it a little more toscany style and added dried tomatoes to the dough…

When you put in those potatoes with the garlic and onion I could SMELL THEM IN MY MIND. Food porn!

@datzfast ItΒ΄s a protein source… It could look like anything else, but as vegetarians get treated pretty roughly now and then this is as well a try to make ignorants less agressive against veggies.

one i thing i really love about your videos is that you tell us the measurements ALONG THE WAY unlike some other youtube chefs out there. this makes it easy for me to cook along with your videos in the kitchen instead of having to click a link to find the measurements π

This looks divine. I use scones when I make sausage/ mushroom cream gravy and serve it over scones. Can't wait to try it with the beef. Never thought about putting it together and baking the scones on top. As always David you give us food for thought. :o)

David here in the US there is a big city (I assume you have heard of it) known as Chicago. It has the BEST hotdogs! I think it would be a good idea for you to reproduce a "Chicago style hotdog" π

@rachiibuu If you cut the potatoes up small, they should be almost cooked in the saucepan. They finish off in the oven. Next time, try smaller pieces π

Should I have cooked the spuds before hand? I tried leaving it in the oven til the spuds were cooked but then the scones started getting a bit too brown so I pulled it out and all the spuds were still raw. Did I something lol

@sbasmaling If you like, I add the tomatoes in for flavour, but you could easily leave them out. You could also puree them in the blender and mix them in, that way hubby won't see them π

@apopkasss That's one way of doing it, I personally prefer it to be thinner, so the scones can suck up the sauce π

@swiftset I would only freeze the meat mixture. Make the scones fresh as required π

@christschool Your made your comment and I responded to it. Your question was answered, and yet you kept going on about it. I removed your comments because it was a pointless argument that was taking over my comments section. Oh, and the new channel video response is a ridiculous over reaction – seriously – if you are so upset about this – unsubscribe.
