    Normally when I make baked potatoes I would use 'Maris Piper'. If you are buying from a green grocers you can ask them what they recommend to use as there are many suitable varieties of potato that work well when baked in the oven,

    From what I have read you can cook most things in a halogen oven. Quicker and cheeper.
    Thanks for dropping in and watching the vids.

    @GeraldLoves2Cook
    Hi GeraldLoves2Cook,
    Cooking in the microwave is a good idea as it will spead the process up. Good tip!
    I thought that most people like bacon and eggs, so putting them with a baked potatoe seemed like the perfect match.
    Thanks for dropping in.
    Kind regards OriginalNakedChef

    I tend to precook the potaoes in the microwave after stabbing the sides. the dip in oil. Cook in the Halogen Oven. Like the Egg and bacon Idea dead cool.
